CHapter 5 - Come to this house, be one of the beautiful people - THE BLOGGER CONVENTION

Ok folks.. here it is. If you read my post, you saw that I am trying to figure out how we can form a blogger convention after the tour is over. My original thought was one chapter in the UK, and one or more in the US/Canada. Each Chapter will need someone to head things up, I volunteer for the Southeast US chapter.

Here is your part......... Please post here, if you would be interested and as listed below. I will take this data and prepare a database. I can sponsor a global conference call, and webex sessions to review plans, if it gets that far. RAchel/Pete - feel free to participate as well..

Thanks - Ronzi

Will need your:
Name -
Location - State/province/county/whatever
Email address - ( you can email me privately, if you wish)
Willing to lead a chapter ??

Chapter 4 - Tommy said, "Yes I can hear you"

Hey folks, still trying to be a good blogger. Being a good blogger means thinking of clever things to write. I didn't have anything, so I submit this to you. While driving home from work all week, of course I was blasting Sirius Radio, The WHO channel. Each day when I got to work, or got home, my throat was tired from singing WHO songs. I dont just sing them , I sing them !. Anyway, on my way home tonight, something occured to me. I have been a WHO fan for over 30 years, and have been singing these songs for over 30 years , or most of them at least. Pete has been touring for over 40 years, but nothing with regular frequency.

So this is what I submit... It occurred to me that I probably have sung most of the common, popular WHO songs, more than Pete and Roger. How can I make a claim like that? Simple.... I've been devoted to the WHO all that time, have always listened to them in my car on cassette , in my home on albums, cassettes, CD's and the radio. Not many days go by, that I dont hear a WHO song.. I faithfully sing each one, if I am able to.. By my math, I have sung them more than Pete and Roger. I bet all of you can say the same thing.

Now Rachel, well, she still has me beat, but it will even out eventually. I love her music as well, I bought her CD and listen to it and know the words. Of course I cannot sing as well as her, but I am catching up.

So Pete & Rachel - Think about what I am saying above.. you've not only created beautiful music, you've created a lifelong culture. Think about it...

Bloggers... who agree's with me, or disagrees??

Lets hope Rachel books another Attic Live show in NYC in Nov... I'll be there..

Love Ronzi

Chapter 3 - The BB's are not Backbone Shiver

Ok, so all done with the lovefest, I call chapters 1 and 2. Now on to more serious matters. I am a musician, have been for years. Started as a singer at 13, and moved to drums thereafter. Guitar came much later in life, in the 30's. The point is music has always been in my life. Pete has always been in my musical life. I met Lou Luca (many of you met him to at Joes) in 1996. We really found a connection and literally wrote over 100 songs. Many are currently up on IAC. So our band is called The BB's. It was derived as a joke, for The Better Beatles, hardly the truth !!!

During last years rise to fame of Rachel on IAC, there was a band called Backbone Shiver, competing for the Golden Kyack... Rachel used to mention them all the time on her blog as BBS. Imagine the confusion that caused for me? On an episode of In The Attic, Mikey, Rachel and Pete can be heard talking about "The BB's". Mikey retorts, is that Back Bone Shiver... Rachel replies, no thats another band. We had a #1 Rock song at the time, I need your Love.

I am pretty sure that Rachel, Mikey and maybe Pete listened to our music, at least I hope so. How cool is that ???? Anyway we are continuing to post songs, we just added a new one. Its called I Can't Believe. Its not the usual BB style, but its great. Lou is an excellent musician, singer and Guitar player and the best friend a person could ask for. Very talented my friend is ;-)

Here are some songs, check it out......

Love you all, please let me know if you like our stuff

Chapter 2 - Are the Kids Alright ??

We are quicky approachng a crescendo of sorts these days. Most of us started with The Boy who Heard Music, then Rachels Blog, and our family was built. We waited for the tour, and the Barnes and Noble appearances, and Joes and House of Blues.. and soon the tour will be over. Rachel and Pete , Mikey and Simon will be back in London, probably assuming some down time.

What will happen? Will In the Attic continue as we know it, will VH1 pick up the show, we Rachel and Pete offer the same level of accessibility as we enjoy today. Will we get to continue to enjoy the talents of Mikey, Simon , Martha and Foy ? Remains to be seen, but what I do know is we are in the most exciting times of our "Pete and Rach" lives right now. I look at this experience as the last piano note of "A day in the Life" ( Beatles) It started out strong, and slowly fades back.

My hope is our blogger family remains intact, we have other chances to gather as a group, to celebrate together, may be in The Method. Who knows.

The memories will always be with us, no mistake. I think we should write a book for Pete to read.... The Bloggers who heard music..... stand back and watch us shine !!!

Chapter 1 - The Meet and Greet

Expectations and realism are two different things. When I saw the announcement that Rachel was doing a show at Joe's Pub, I said hey I have to go to that. I live in Jacksonville Florida, and made sure I was going. I was like yea, I get to meet Rachel, Mikey , Simon and "PETE". I admit I was excited, I rehearsed the M&G in my head 100 times, what would I say?

The day came and I got to Joe's and it was so different than I imagined. The Bloggers.. yes you all who are reading this.. you all made the night for me. Seeing flesh and blood, smiles and handshakes , grins and chatting, people drinking, eating, talking, the buzz of the crowd, set off an idea in my head. Long before Rachel hit the stage I was in awe.. My family, who previously was my family of bits and bytes are now in front of me. It was like we met many many years ago, we all knew each other, so cool. After Rachels show, well that was a dream, to relate on the same level with the bloggers that were there was excellent... truly.

I love Pete and Rachel, wish Mikey and Simon where there, Foy was AMAZING and so was Martha... but the bloggers... god was it great to meet you all.

I flew back to Jacksonville the next day and here I am, by family of bits and bytes again.. but I know you all better now.. and now know the smiles of you all - Great People you all are. Proud to be your friends..
